This is my attendance board. All the kids had their names on magnets and they would start the day on the absent section. Then when they came in they would move their magnets to either slot depending on which item they liked best. I changed the questions everyday and it gave me an opportunity to learn more about my students. I let the students come up with the questions too. This is actually a large magnetic board. I separated the sections by hot gluing a black ribbon to the board to provide sections. Then I glued on the heading and the letters. The kids loved this board! Sometimes I wondered if they came to school just so they could answer the questions!
